This Privacy Policy describes how PulseTimer ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. OVERVIEW
PulseTimer is an interval timer and workout training app designed to help users create custom work/rest routines and track training sessions. PulseTimer is built to work completely offline and does not require an internet connection, account creation, or login to function.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information the App does and does not collect.
2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
PulseTimer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
- Any data whatsoever to external servers
The App makes no network requests and does not connect to the internet at any point during normal use.
3. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
PulseTimer allows you to create and save the following information for your own convenience:
- Interval presets (name, work duration, rest duration, rounds, warm-up, cool-down)
- App preferences (sound and haptic feedback settings)
This information is stored locally on your device only, using your device's local storage. It is never uploaded, synced, backed up to any server, or shared with us or any third party. We have no access to this data at any time.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.
4. PERMISSIONS
PulseTimer does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, microphone, or storage beyond its own app data. The App may briefly prevent your screen from automatically locking while a timer session is actively running, and this behavior stops as soon as the session is paused or completed.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
PulseTimer does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not display ads.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PulseTimer does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because the App does not collect data of any kind. The App is suitable for general audiences.
7. DATA SECURITY
Since all data remains locally on your device and is never transmitted externally, there is no risk of your preset or settings data being intercepted, accessed, or breached remotely through the App.
8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
