PulseIQ ("the App") is developed by FoundryApps. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.
In short: Your health data stays on your device. We do not sell or share your health information. We do share limited, non-health app usage data with Meta for advertising measurement, as described below.
Your information is stored locally on your device, including:
Heart rate measurements
Heart rate variability (HRV) results
Manually logged health metrics (such as blood pressure, blood sugar, height, weight, and BMI)
Profile information entered during setup (such as age, sex, height, weight, and goals)
App settings and preferences
We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process this information, and we cannot access it. Deleting the App will remove this locally stored data.
The App uses your device's rear camera and flash to measure your pulse through your fingertip. Camera frames are processed locally on your device in real time to calculate your pulse signal and are immediately discarded afterward.
No photos or videos are recorded, saved, or transmitted.
With your permission, the App can access information from Apple Health, including data such as:
Age
Sex
Height
Weight
Sleep
Activity
This information is used solely to improve your experience within the App. The App can also save your measurements to Apple Health if you choose.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes and is never shared with third parties.
You can manage or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed securely by Apple through your App Store account.
We do not receive or store your:
Name
Payment information
Billing details
Apple handles the entire payment process.
When you begin a free trial or complete a purchase, the App shares the transaction event (such as the subscription price and currency, but never your payment details) with Meta for advertising measurement, as described below.
The App uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
If you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, the App may share:
Your device's advertising identifier
App opens
Account registrations
Trial starts
Purchases
Meta may associate this information with your Meta (Facebook or Instagram) account in order to measure and optimize advertising performance across its platforms.
No health information, camera data, heart rate measurements, or other medical information is ever shared with Meta. All health-related data remains on your device.
You can disable tracking at any time by going to:
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
We do not send remote push notifications.
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be included in an updated version of the App, along with a revised Effective Date.
