ADAPTIQ AUDIO CALIBRATION SYSTEM DOWNLOAD
ADAPTiQ is a proprietary audio calibration system developed by Bose that optimizes the sound of your system for the acoustics of your room. The contents of your room (i.e. surfaces, furniture, rugs, etc.) impact how sound is heard in the room. The calibration process measures the properties of your room and adjusts the sound of your system accordingly.
ADAPTIQ AUDIO CALIBRATION SYSTEM DOWNLOAD
ADAPTiQ is compatible with various Bose products, such as SoundTouch 300 soundbar, Smart Soundbar 900, Lifestyle V35 home entertainment system, and more . To run ADAPTiQ audio calibration, you need to have an ADAPTiQ headset that comes with your Bose product or can be purchased separately. You also need to download the Bose Music app on your smartphone or tablet and connect it to your Bose product via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
To download the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system, follow these steps:
Open the Bose Music app on your device and tap the Audio button. If this button is not shown, tap the product control icon in the lower-left corner. Tip: If you have more than one Bose product, tap the My Bose icon in upper-left corner then select the product to be adjusted.
Select ADAPTiQ and then select Run ADAPTiQ Now. Follow the app instructions. The following screens appear:
Connect the ADAPTiQ headset to the back of your Bose product using the adapter cable. Plug it into the ADAPTiQ connector on the back.
Put on the ADAPTiQ headset and adjust it so that the microphones are aligned with your ears. Make sure there is no background noise in the room.
Sit in five different locations where you normally listen to your system. The app will guide you through each location and play a series of tones. The headset will measure how the sound is reflected in your room and send the data to your Bose product.
After completing the five locations, remove the headset and disconnect it from your Bose product. The app will show you a confirmation screen that ADAPTiQ is complete.
Congratulations! You have successfully downloaded and run the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system for your Bose product. You can now enjoy a customized sound experience that suits your room acoustics. If you re-arrange your room or move your system to a different room, re-calibrate your system using the same steps.
If you want to turn off ADAPTiQ audio calibration, you can do so by selecting ADAPTiQ in the Bose Music app and then selecting Turn Off ADAPTiQ. You can turn it back on anytime by selecting Turn On ADAPTiQ.
