About the PTSA

The Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that harnesses the collective efforts of parents, educators & students towards improving the overall POB school community and education experience.

We provide parents and teachers with a way to share their experience and knowledge about students. Our members support public education and work to improve our children's health and safety, whether that means fundraising for school supplies, educating parents, helping teachers, or fighting for legislation to ensure every student gets a high-quality education.

Our PTSA works independently promoting the welfare of children enrolled at POB. We work together with principals, school boards and other community leaders to make sure your concerns are heard and needs are met. We are a member of the Mecklenburg PTA Council which serves all of the PTAs in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as well as greater Mecklenburg County. We are part of the North Carolina PTA network and are duly affiliated with the National PTA which is the largest volunteer association in the United States advocating on behalf of children.
