Overview & Commitment

FlowLedger is engineered as an offline-first application. We prioritize your privacy above all else. Unlike many other financial apps, we do not store your personal financial database on our servers. Your data resides strictly on your device's local storage within an encrypted database.

Data Collection & Usage

Local Data (Stored on Device)

• Financial Records: Your transactions, budgets, accounts, and financial settings are stored locally on your device. We (the developer) have no access to this data.

•  App Preferences: Your theme settings and language preferences are stored locally.

 AI Features (Ephemeral Processing)

To provide the "Smart Categorization" feature, the application processes specific text inputs:

• Data Transmitted: Only the text you enter in the "Note" or "Description" field is sent to our AI engine.

• Service Provider: The AI engine is securely hosted on Cloud.

• Ephemeral Nature: This processing is stateless. Your text is processed in-memory and is NOT stored, NOT logged, and NOT used for training AI models. Once the category is returned, the text data is immediately discarded.

Data Security

• Encryption: All data transmission between the app and the AI engine is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

• Local Encryption: Your local database is protected by the operating system's sandbox and application-level encryption measures.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

• Cloud: Used solely as the infrastructure provider for the AI categorization feature.

•  No Tracking: We do not track your location or device usage habits for advertising purposes.

Backup & Restore

You hold full control over your data backups.

• Export: The "Export" feature creates a backup file (.flb or .sqlite) on your device. You are responsible for saving this file to a secure location.

• Responsibility: Since we do not host your data, we cannot recover your data if you uninstall the application or lose your device without having a manual backup.

Permissions

We request mobile app permissions only when necessary for specific functionality:

• Storage/File Access: Requested only when you explicitly perform a "Backup" or "Restore" operation.

License

FlowLedger grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "As Is" and "As Available". The developer makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy of the AI categorization (it is a suggestion tool only).

•  The absolute safety of data in the event of device failure or malware attacks on the user's device.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Data Loss: Loss of financial data due to app uninstallation, device reset, or failure to create backups.

• Financial Decisions: Any financial decisions made based on the data or reports provided by the application.

Changes

• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the application signifies your acceptance of updated terms.

Governing Law

• These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia.
