PTPlayer ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect:
Media Files: PTPlayer accesses your local storage (Videos and Images) solely to play them within the app and to provide editing features (Trim, Compress, MP3 Extraction).
Private Vault: Files moved to the "Encrypted Vault" are stored locally on your device with encryption. We do not have access to your private files or your password.
Device Information: We may collect non-personal information such as device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers for crash reporting and performance optimization.
2. Third-Party Services (Advertising):
Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. These third-party vendors may use cookies or web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving.
AdMob: Google may use advertising IDs to personalize ads and analyze traffic. You can opt-out of personalized advertising in your Android device settings.
3. Permissions We Use:
Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To access and play your media files.
Internet: To stream online content (YouTube, DASH, HLS) and load advertisements.
Foreground Service: To allow background playback (YouTube/Music).
4. Data Security:
We do not upload your personal media to any cloud servers. Everything stays on your device. For the "Hide Video/Image" feature, we use local encryption to ensure your data is safe from unauthorized access on the device.
5. Children’s Privacy: Our app does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
