Information Processed by the App and Its Service Providers
App usage and analytics
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase in release versions. Analytics may process:
- app screens, categories, cards, training modes, answers, progress milestones, favorites, advertising gates, and Premium interactions;
- app language, language selection mode, and Premium status;
- app lifecycle events and sessions;
- purchase events, including product ID, product name, price, and purchase status;
- app-instance identifiers and the Android Advertising ID when available;
- approximate location derived by Google from a masked IP address.
The App does not offer user accounts, does not set a custom user ID, and does not intentionally associate Analytics data with a user's name or email. Analytics data is associated with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier.
Crash and diagnostic information
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes and technical problems. Crashlytics may process:
- crash stack traces and nonfatal errors;
- relevant application state;
- device model, operating system, app version, and session information;
- Crashlytics and Firebase installation identifiers;
- the App’s language setting, language mode, and Premium status;
- Analytics breadcrumb events immediately before a crash.
Advertising and consent
The free version of the App may use Google AdMob to load and display rewarded advertisements. Google Mobile Ads may process and share:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- app and advertising interactions, including app launches, taps, and video views;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- Android Advertising ID, App Set ID, and other applicable device or account identifiers.
The Android Advertising ID may be used for advertising and ad measurement where permitted. App Set ID is used only for permitted non-advertising purposes, such as analytics and fraud prevention. Other advertising and diagnostic data may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Depending on the user’s region and choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.
The App uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required. Advertising privacy choices apply to advertising. They do not by themselves disable Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
Premium users do not receive advertisements from the App.
Premium purchases
The App uses Google Play Billing for Premium purchases and purchase restoration. Google Play and the App may process:
- product details and displayed price;
- purchase status and transaction state;
- purchase history and Premium entitlement.
The App does not directly receive or store payment card numbers or bank account details. Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
Feedback and support
If a user chooses to send feedback, the App opens the user’s external email application and prepares a message containing:
- App language;
- App version;
- device manufacturer and model;
- Android version;
- a field for the user’s feedback.
The message is not sent automatically. The user can review, edit, or cancel it. If the user sends the email, the developer receives the sender’s email address, the message content, and the included technical information.
Information stored locally
The App stores the following information locally through Android app storage:
- language, sound, and haptic settings;
- favorite and viewed cards;
- training progress and selected answers;
- content unlocked through rewarded advertisements;
- a local Premium entitlement flag.
This information is used to restore the user’s settings, progress, and access. It is removed when the user clears the App’s data or uninstalls the App, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Depending on the user’s device and Android backup settings, the operating system may back up or restore some local App data.
Information We Do Not Request
The App does not request access to precise GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, private messages, medical records, or legal documents. It does not create user accounts and does not operate its own user-data backend.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to:
- provide and restore App features, settings, progress, and Premium access;
- understand which content and training modes are useful;
- improve usability and retention;
- detect and fix crashes, bugs, and performance problems;
- load, display, and measure rewarded advertisements;
- process and restore purchases;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and technical misuse;
- respond to voluntary feedback and privacy requests;
- comply with Google Play requirements and applicable law.
Third-Party Services
The App uses services provided by Google:
- Google Analytics for Firebase — product analytics;
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and diagnostic reporting;
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — rewarded advertising;
- Google User Messaging Platform — advertising consent management;
- Google Play Billing — Premium purchases and restoration.
These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Google Mobile Ads may share advertising-related data with advertising partners as described by Google.

Data Sharing
We do not sell users’ personal data.
Information may be processed by Google and its service providers or advertising partners only as needed for analytics, crash reporting, advertising, consent management, billing, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Feedback is received only when a user chooses to send an email through an external email provider.
Data Retention
- Local settings, progress, favorites, and unlocks remain on the device until the user resets them where that option is available, clears the App’s data, or uninstalls the App, subject to Android backup and restore behavior.
- Support emails are retained only while needed to respond, resolve the issue, maintain necessary records, or comply with legal obligations. Users may request deletion of identifiable support messages.
- Analytics, crash, advertising, consent, and purchase information is retained according to the applicable Google service settings, legal requirements, and Google’s own retention policies.
- Purchase or fraud-prevention records may be retained when required for billing verification, security, legal compliance, or dispute handling.
User Choices
Users may:
- manage advertising consent through Advertising privacy settings inside the App when this option is required for their region;
- manage ad personalization and identifiers through their Google account or Android device settings;
- choose not to send a feedback email, or edit its contents before sending;
- clear local App data or uninstall the App to remove local settings and progress;
- restore an eligible Premium purchase through Google Play;
- contact us regarding privacy or deletion requests.
Data Deletion Requests
Users can request deletion of identifiable App-related data by emailing:
supportbodylanguage@gmail.com
Please include the App name Learn Body Language and describe the data or support correspondence that should be deleted.
Because the App does not create accounts and some Analytics, Crashlytics, and advertising data uses pseudonymous installation or device identifiers, we may not be able to connect all SDK records to an email request. Google also provides separate controls for advertising identifiers, ad personalization, and other Google data.
Some records may be retained when required for billing verification, fraud prevention, security, legal obligations, or dispute handling.
Security
Google states that the data described for Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase, and Google Mobile Ads is encrypted in transit. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to users under the age of 18. If we become aware that data from a child has been collected in violation of applicable rules, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Educational Disclaimer
The App is for learning and self-development only. It does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or other professional diagnosis. The App does not guarantee lie detection, mind reading, or particular results. Body-language signals should be evaluated in context and should not be treated as absolute proof of another person’s thoughts, emotions, intentions, or truthfulness.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its service providers, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
