PSSL 105

105th Peripatetic Seminar on Sheaves and Logic

satellite event: Categorical Methods in Algebra

18-19 May - 105th Peripatetic Seminar on Sheaves and Logic.

17 May - Satellite event: Categorical Methods in Algebra

105th PSSL took place in Palermo, on the weekend of 18-19 May 2019, at the Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica, via Archirafi 34, Palermo, Italy.

The 105th PSSL was preceded by a Special Seminar on Categorical Methods in Algebra on Friday 17 May 2019.

What is a PSSL?

Citing from PSSL93 website, "the PSSLs are a long-running series of meetings, usually held over a weekend at a university in Europe. Talks cover all aspects of category theory and its applications. The working atmosphere is informal, e.g. talks are usually short and may be about work in progress. The name is a (charming) historical relic - 'Peripatetic Seminar on Sheaves and Logic' - but most talks are not about sheaves or logic.

The present conference is the second PSSL ever held in Palermo, the first being PSSL96.

Satellite Event

On Friday 17 May, we organized a special seminar session, satellite event of the PSSL, focused on the theme "Categorical Methods in Algebra".
