SMCCCD’s new Sustainability Center, based at CSM B1-144, will use the Museum of Tomorrow (MoT) model to curate and create experiential learning exhibits to empower sustainable climate action. Originating at UC Berkeley, this MoT model is a proven concept to effectively inspire sustainable behavioral change on campus.
This year, we are looking to hire in two student groups: 1. Engineering and 2. Media. Engineering students will expand on current exhibits, and media students will focus on social media and outreach.
This opportunity is open to all SMCCCD students, especially those with Engineering/Design/Art/Media/Marketing backgrounds. This is a great opportunity for students to gain professional skills in fabrication, video production and leadership while exploring the realm of sustainability. Interested students should submit their application here by Wednesday, Sept 3rd, 11:59 pm PST.
Please feel free to reach out to Jessica Ho hojessica@smccd.edu or Annalise Eder edera@smccd.edu for more details. We look forward to hearing from you!
