Particle Systems and PDEs XIV

Welcome to the 14th edition of PSPDEs to take place in Toulouse, from 22 to 26 June, 2026!

Description

The aim of the conference Particle Systems and PDEs XIV is to bring together experts and enthusiasts on Particle Systems and to foster new interactions between the different communities in Probability, Analysis, Mathematical Physics and Kinetic Theory. The program will include not only the recent developments on classical models from Mathematical Physics, but also on models arising from modern applications in Mathematical Biology, Collective Behaviour and Population Dynamics. We expect the participation of a vast audience, including early career researchers.

Mint Summer School

The conference will be preceded by a 1-week Mint Summer School with 4 courses, including lectures by Luisa Andreis (Torino), Francis Filbet (Toulouse), Jani Lukkarinen (Helsinki) and  Pascal Maillard (Toulouse).

Financial support

A few students and early career researchers may ask for financial support (accomodation). They will need to fill a separate dedicated form in the Registration tab by April 1st (notification before April 15th).

This is a joint organization by Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, Centro de Análise Matemática, Geometria e Sistemas Dinâmicos da Universidade de Lisboa, Centro de Matemática da Universidade do Minho and INRIA Lyon. 

This event is part of the thematic semester Interacting particles, PDEs and applications, held at Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, from April to December 2026.
