Letter from the Secretary-General

Dear Delegates,

Welcome to the third annual Potomac School Model UN Conference! On behalf of the rest of the delegates on Potomac MUN, we sincerely appreciate the support for PSMUNC I and II, as we have even greater plans and ambitions for PSMUNC III. We have been working meticulously to plan an outstanding conference, and while we may be relatively small, our decision to host only crisis committees will truly show our dedication to the fun in MUN. 

This year’s crisis-only conference aims to offer a selection of committees that will span from serious, systemic issues to lighthearted shenanigans. Interconnected and systemic issues require complex solutions, which delegates should strive to achieve. With more serious matters aside, we have plenty of entertaining committees as well. With topics ranging from Among US to sinking island nations, we hope everyone can find a committee that excites them! We are ecstatic for you to join us at PSMUNC this year and hope you are, too.
