The Mechanical Design and Fabrication Technical Division of PSME provides industry professionals with the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss current technological issues through monthly meetings and special events. We in MDF aims to create a community of like-minded individual who specializes in Mechanical Design, Fabrication, and Simulation
We promote and advocate standardized mechanical designs, correct fabrication methodologies and practices, enhance knowledge in simulations like in machine learning, FEA, CFD, AI, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), and prototyping as such.
We have Ask-Me-Anything Forums where we discuss with mechanical engineering experts regarding a certain topic. We do have many activities prepared for this year and we can wait to see you there, engineer!
Yes, you can! We highly encourage the students taking BSME, newly licensed ME professionals, and associate professionals!
The registration fee is waived indefinitely.
Yes there are! There are many benefits, apart from the knowledge you may acquire, you can create a network of fellow engineers and aspiring engineers. We also hosts online forums that makes the community even better!
As of the moment, the group is exclusive only for Certified Plant Mechanics, Registered Mechanical Engineers, Professional Mechanical Engineers, and students who are taking BS Mechanical Engineering. We are offering some of our events for non-members.
There will be a notification email informing you of your membership registration is hereby granted. Also check your spam email if you didn't see it on your inbox.
Your membership ends after a year on the day you registered. Example, you registered in May 1, 2023 then your membership will end on May 1, 2024. However, you can renew it on the year indicated on your certificate of membership.
