Experience. I am an Assistant Professor of Microeconomic Theory and Policy at the Department of Economics of the University of Crete in Rethymnon, Greece. I teach Mathematics for Economists, Industrial Organization, Game Theory, and graduate Microeconomics. I was an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Economic and Regional Development at Panteion University in Athens, and a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
My Research Interests are in the wider area of Applied Microeconomics and Industrial Organization, like vertically related markets, overlapping ownership, technology licensing, and product proliferation. I am also fond of Game Theory and Quantitative/Computational Methods.
Education. I hold a dual degree BSc & MSc (5-years integrated master) in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Athens (2002-2007, Major: Statistics); an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business (2009-2011, Major: Finance); and a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Crete (2015-2018, Summa Cum Laude). My Ph.D. Thesis title is: "Essays in Corporate Governance and Labor Relations. A Geame-Theoretic Approach", and my supervisor was Professor Emmanuel Petrakis.
