If you want a dedicated, waterproof audio solution for serious lap swimming and underwater training, choose PSIER Bone Conduction Swimming; if you need versatile, noise-canceling true wireless earbuds for commuting, office work, or casual listening in dry environments, choose ZYHKON Earbuds. These two devices occupy completely different lanes of the audio market, and picking the wrong one means ending up with headphones that either can't get wet or can't keep out the world. I have analyzed the technical specifications and design intent behind both models to help you make a clear decision without the confusion of marketing fluff.
• PSIER Bone Conduction Swimming: Its biggest strength is the specialized IPX8 waterproof rating and dual-driver system designed specifically for underwater use, but its trade-off is that it cannot stream music via Bluetooth while submerged and lacks active noise cancellation.
• ZYHKON Earbuds: Its biggest strength is the advanced 38dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation and smart touchscreen case for total control on land, but its trade-off is an IPX7 rating that handles sweat and rain rather than full submersion.
• Who each pick is for: The PSIER is for athletes who train in pools and lakes daily; the ZYHKON is for commuters, travelers, and office workers who prioritize silence and battery life above all else.
The PSIER X34-C is not a general-purpose headphone; it is a tool built for a specific environment where standard electronics fail. If your primary goal is to swim laps while listening to music, this is the only option on the list that truly delivers. The key here is the IPX8 waterproof certification, which guarantees the unit can be submerged up to two meters deep for an hour. This isn't just splash resistance like many sport earbuds claim; it is engineered for actual underwater immersion. When you dive into the pool, the device switches to its internal MP3 mode, utilizing the built-in 32GB memory to store up to 8,000 songs directly on the hardware. You do not need your phone tethered to your arm or waist to enjoy your playlist; the audio comes straight from the bone conduction driver system.

The sound engineering behind this unit is distinct because it uses a hybrid bone and air conduction driver system. Standard bone conduction headphones often struggle with bass response, leaving the audio sounding thin and tinny. PSIER claims their dual-component design works synergistically to enrich the frequency response, delivering roughly 30% more bass than single-driver competitors. While you won't hear the same depth as over-ear cans, the tuning aims to provide a fuller experience even through water. The inclusion of Bluetooth 6.0 ensures ultra-low latency when you are out of the water, making it a seamless transition between your swim and your post-workout run.
However, this device demands a lifestyle shift. You must remember to switch modes manually. If you try to connect via Bluetooth while underwater, the signal will fail; the device requires the physical toggle to the MP3 mode to function beneath the surface. Furthermore, the fit relies on a seamless liquid silicone coating that is lightweight and stable, designed to integrate with swim caps and goggles. If you are looking for a "set it and forget it" pair of earbuds for everything from the shower to the gym, this might feel too specialized. But for the dedicated swimmer who wants to leave their phone behind and still hear their favorite tracks, the 8-hour playtime and fast magnetic charging make it a reliable partner for long training sessions.
In stark contrast, the ZYHKON Z9pro is designed for the modern commuter and the busy professional who needs isolation from a chaotic world. These in-ear buds feature a 14.2mm dynamic driver system capable of Hi-Fi stereo sound, paired with 5 customizable EQ modes ranging from Rock to Classic. What sets these apart immediately is the 38dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). This technology actively reduces ambient noise, allowing you to block out the roar of a subway, the chatter of a coffee shop, or the hum of an open-plan office. Alongside the ANC, the ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) filters out 90% of background voices during calls, ensuring your voice comes through loud and clear even in noisy settings.
The user experience is heavily centered around convenience and control. The charging case features a smart touch screen display that shows the real-time battery levels for both the earbuds and the case itself. This eliminates the guesswork of wondering if you have enough juice for your commute. More impressively, the case acts as a remote control; you can adjust volume, skip tracks, answer calls, and toggle between ANC and Transparency Mode directly from the case without ever pulling out your smartphone. This is particularly useful when your hands are full or you are trying to stay discreet in a quiet library. The battery life is equally robust, offering 6 to 8 hours of continuous listening on a single charge, which extends to a massive 48 hours total when combined with the case.
Comfort is another major selling point for daily wear. The package includes three sizes of soft silicone ear tips (S/M/L), ensuring a secure, pressure-free fit for extended periods. With Bluetooth 5.4, pairing is instant and stable across iOS and Android devices. The IPX7 waterproof rating protects against sweat and rain, making them suitable for intense workouts, though they are not intended for submersion. If you value transparency mode to stay aware of your surroundings when walking near traffic, or if you need to focus deeply in a distracting environment, these earbuds are engineered to handle those scenarios with precision. They are the definition of all-day comfort and utility for anyone who spends significant time outside of the pool.

I would buy the ZYHKON Earbuds for my daily life because they offer a level of versatility and noise isolation that fits the majority of real-world scenarios. The ability to block out city noise with 38dB ANC and control everything from a smart touchscreen case makes them indispensable for commuting and working. However, if you are a competitive swimmer or spend hours in the pool every week, the PSIER is the only logical choice due to its waterproof capabilities. Ultimately, for most people switching from traditional wired or non-waterproof wireless options, the ZYHKON provides the better all-around value and performance for land-based activities.
Only the PSIER Bone Conduction Swimming model is suitable for swimming. It carries an IPX8 rating and has a dedicated MP3 mode for underwater use. The ZYHKON Earbuds are only IPX7 rated, meaning they handle sweat and rain but should never be submerged.
For the ZYHKON Earbuds, no app is required; you can switch between the 5 EQ modes directly using the touch screen on the charging case. The PSIER does utilize an AI-driven Boean app to tailor audio profiles, but it is optional for basic playback.
The ZYHKON Earbuds offer a longer total battery life of 48 hours thanks to their charging case, providing 6 to 8 hours per charge. The PSIER offers 8 hours of playtime but lacks a charging case to extend that duration significantly.
No. The PSIER Bone Conduction Swimming headphones must be switched to MP3 mode to function underwater, which disables the Bluetooth connection required for calls. Calls are only possible via Bluetooth when the device is out of the water.
