The Senior High School Department hosted the Magpasikat Kickoffs 2024, showcasing students' talents and upholding the school's core values through performances and activities at the Edgar V. Bondoc Gymnasium on September 27-30.

All performances were anchored to the PSD Core Values — Pro-People, Pro-Environment, Pro-God, and Pro-Nation. Each department presented a preview of its performances in preparation for the final on November 15.

Meanwhile, the Vice Principal of the SHS Department Dr. Noemi F. Formaran welcomed the attendees, participants, families, staff, and the PTA Board of Directors to the event. She remarked that this Magpasikat could attest to PSDians’ incredible talents.

Apart from the launch proper, the Preschool, Primary, and Intermediate departments celebrated their family day. The vice principals of every department shared their lines of encouragement by discussing the essence of the competition and giving reminders of important details like the voting process, canvassing schedule, and the final show date. They also showed their gratitude to the stakeholders and the Senior High School Department for the successful kickoffs.

Moreover, the different teams of the SHS Department were also given the opportunity to showcase the previews of their performances in all programs in accordance with their assigned PSD Core Values.

The Magpasikat Talent Show seeks to celebrate the talents of PSDians across levels as a friendly fundraiser competition. The full-blown performances of Magpasikat would transpire on November 15, 2024.
