There are Preset buttons that will quickly allow you to change how you want your game to play. You can adjust the game to your liking even after pressing a preset button.
Optional Features
Characters
If chosen, all characters can start off at level 1 with the weakest set of equipment available. All characters have the same experience curve. All characters also will have the same stat growths (or similar) that they had in the vanilla game.
If chosen, all characters can have what they learn for techniques and skills randomized. Characters who can learn techniques will learn a new technique at the same levels they would in Vanilla. All techniques are available to learn for every character, but are divided in to 3 categories:
Low (Levels 1-12ish): Foi, Wat, Tsu, Zan, Gra, Doran, Res, Sar, Saner, Deban, Anti, Arows, Ryuka, Hinas
Mid (Levels 13-24ish): GiFoi, GiWat, GiWat, GiThu, GiZan, GiGra, Gelun, GiRes, GiSar, Shift, Rimpa, Rever, Vol
High (Levels 24ish+): NaFoi, NaWat, NaThu, NaZan, NaGra, SaVol, NaRes, NaSar, Regen, Megid
Each character has their own skill pool to pull from (See the Characters page).
If chosen, you can increase the XP curve for a character's level. It will make it so that at later levels, it takes more XP to gain levels.
Classes
If selected, each character will have a selected "Class" that changes their stats and their skills. This will drastically change how you play each character.
Shops and Chests
If chosen, you can make shops sell the same "Tier" of items rather than be completely random. An instance of a tier would be a shop only selling Titanium-Level gear. If you choose a "Typed" shop setup, each shop will sell items only of a certain type (Swords, Claws, Robes, etc.). Or you can completely randomize the shops.
If chosen, the sale price of items can be reduced to 25% (down from 50%).
If chosen, you can lessen the amount of Legendary Weapons and Dragon's Tears that will be available in the seed.
Legendary Weapons will have 2 Guaranteed Weapons. Any additional weapons (based on your team) will have a 50% chance of appearing.
Elsydeon will only count as a Guaranteed Weapon if Chaz is in your party.
Psycho Wand will only count as a Guaranteed Weapon if Rune or Raja are in your party.
There will only be 1-3 Amber Eyes per seed.
If chosen, you can lessen the likelihood of a chest containing money by about 50%.
Enemies
If chosen, you can disable random encounters entirely. You can still get into an encounter through use of the Call Flute.
If chosen, bosses can be shuffled from their default locations. When this happens, boss stats and rewards scale to what the stats are of the vanilla boss in that area, but the boss' elemental resistances and abilities remain the same.
If chosen, bosses can have a 10% stat increase or decrease. All stats are changed except for agility, which will remain the same.
If chosen, bosses can become immune to instant-death. This will also remove instant-death abilities from all character pools.

Cosmetic Changes
Upon randomization, you can enter a new name for any character you have. If you do this, only up to the first 4 valid letters will be used.
You can also choose to make ability names more simple to understand (like Foi is renamed to Fire). This is great for those unfamiliar with the unique naming conventions of the Phantasy Star series.
