The Center for Disability Services is a leader in the Capital Region in the field of special education, programming, and services for individuals with varying disabilities and special needs. They have over 80 locations in 15 counties which serve over 12,000 individuals annually. Through their schools, camps, and healthcare facilities they are able to help individuals of all abilities. While many of their programs are not directly focussed on ASD, individuals with ASD are likely to find that the programs provided are able to help them "get a better life".

Serves students with ASD and other physical and other disabilities.
The goals that they have for all graduates are: Community inclusion, Self determination, and Independence
Provides K-12 education to students from 58 districts in the Capital Region.
Students complete a Common Core educational program which is taught with differentiated instruction; providing individual supports and services to help every student be successful.
Prevocational, communication, and motor skills are also key components of every student's educational journey at the school.

CloverPatch Preschool
Special education preschool with locations in Albany and Glenville.
Students ages 2-5 years old.
Self contained and integrated classrooms. Students are placed depending on their abilities.
RAAVE classrooms where the program is the key to all activities, lessons, and curriculum (See video above).
Professional staff includes Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Learning and Organizational specialists.
CloverPatch Camp & Camp Spectacular
A summer day and sleep away camp program for children and adults (age 5 - no limit) located in Glenville on Alplaus Creek.
CloverPatch is the name of the sleep away program & Camp Spectacular is the name of the day program. The camps run at the same facility at the same time. All the following information applies for both camp programs.
With a maximum of 24 campers per session, the camper to counselor ratio is 2:1.
Camp staff is trained and equipped to work with campers with varying disabilities, ASD being one of the many.
All activities and facilities are accessible.
Some of the activities campers get to enjoy each day are swimming (in heated pools), arts and crafts, nature study, sports, and games.
Medical directors and nurses are onsite 24/7
Staff is trained and ready to help campers with feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, daily hygiene, and lifting/transferring.
Center Health Care
Provides medical care to individuals with disabilities and special needs.
Primary care is only offered as a pediatric service, however their other services are available to any people of any age.
Dental Services are available and the trained staff will work to eliminate stress and make the often dreaded visit to the dentist a more comfortable and positive experience.
Everything from a cleaning to root canals and prosthetics can be accomodated.
Pediatric and adult psychiatric services are available for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Provide in-home behavioral support for individuals with ASD.
Participants can take part in group or individual therapy sessions.
Physical and medical rehab is available.
