We at P.S. 207 are dedicated to creating an environment, which is conducive to learning while meeting the academic, social and emotional needs of our diverse student population. We will help our students become college and career ready by holding them to high expectations by providing them with rigorous instruction aligned with the Next Generation learning standards. We encourage student creativity and individuality while helping our students develop solid values that foster respect for self and others.

The entire P.S. 207 community works together to support the academic, social and emotional needs of our students. We strive to ensure that all of our students will become successful lifelong learners who value and respect themselves as well as others. It is our hope that our students will exhibit a healthy curiosity about themselves and the world around them as they grow into well-rounded, well-adjusted adults with a broad base of experience and knowledge.

We will support individual growth by clearly communicating expectations that will develop autonomous learners. Additionally, teachers will develop and implement a student goal setting and reflection  protocol as one step in creating and maintaining learning environments that help students take charge of their own learning to navigate rigorous and developmentally appropriate learning tasks.
