I can understand, that with all the options available with GetChannels(GC) I might be asking for the wrong thing. As stated in my first post, I think I want to record, but what I really want is to have access to a program like Sixty Minutes and or Evil which plays on CBS(Paramount Plus) and have the ability to skip adds. Skipping adds is my goal. If I cannot do that with these programs or others, then I might as well watch them on their own site.

I also have a trouble report in with Playon, because of the programs inability to record any shows from the CBS site.

Because of that and the fact that the CG site allude to the fact that they have stream links for Paramount Plus, so I tried to use their example without success. While there are many pages of what GC can do I cannot find much of "how" to do. I could not even find where to enter the Paramount Plus example they show.

It only thing that is obvious to me is that if I can get PlayOn to record into a folder on my server, I can import that folder into GC.

So, to be clear, is the only way to watch content from Paramount Plus and/or CBS is to link directly to a stream and watch the program directly without the ability to pause or FF?

If that is the case I will continue to work with PlayOn and then import its recordings.

Channels itself cannot record from Paramount Plus. If you use stream links to add a program from Paramount Plus to the Library in Channels, selecting the entry will take to the Paramount Plus app. Channels has no control over the experience after that point; you are now interacting with Paramount Plus.

(Personally, I find the stream link route too cumbersome to bother with. Channels is for my TV, and the streaming apps are for their own respective content. Since Channels cannot handle streaming on-demand content, why bother cluttering my Channels library with stuff Channels can't play/use. Again, that's just my opinion.)

OT but can I do anything to improve the UI for Sling using channels DVR? Sling DVR with ad skipping usually does not allow skipping the ads or even pausing the ads in spite of their claims to the contrary. However, I don't see any Sling (or other streaming only service) interface in Channels DVR other than the apparently very limited value stream link.

I just purchased stream deck plus. I'm not sure if all features are yet implemented for the Plus. I prefer to operate in the mode using stream deck plugin. I haven't found a way to put an icon in the SD Touch Bar area (no matter which mode) and the knob rotation feature appears to only work if I am in fully controlled by BTT mode. If possible, I would like to do the following in plugin mode:

If the proxy server has several network interfaces, you can optionally configure NGINX to use a particular source IP address when connecting to an upstream server. This may be useful if a proxied server behind NGINX is configured to accept connections from particular IP networks or IP address ranges.

Populate the upstream group with upstream servers. Within the upstream {} block, add a server directive for each upstream server, specifying its IP address or hostname (which can resolve to multiple IP addresses) and an obligatory port number. Note that you do not define the protocol for each server, because that is defined for the entire upstream group by the parameter you include on the listen directive in the server block, which you have created earlier.

Upstream server groups can be easily reconfigured on-the-fly using NGINX Plus REST API. Using this interface, you can view all servers in an upstream group or a particular server, modify server parameters, and add or remove upstream servers.

Create a shared memory zone for the group of upstream servers so that all worker processes can use the same configuration. To do this, in the top-level stream {} block, find the target upsteam group, add the zone directive to the upstream server group and specify the zone name (here, stream_backend) and the amount of memory (64 KB):

The first server listens on port 12345 and proxies all TCP connections to the stream_backend group of upstream servers. Note that the proxy_pass directive defined in the context of the stream module must not contain a protocol.

Two optional timeout parameters are specified: the proxy_connect_timeout directive sets the timeout required for establishing a connection with a server in the stream_backend group. The proxy_timeout directive sets a timeout used after proxying to one of the servers in the stream_backend group has started.

The second server listens on port 53 and proxies all UDP datagrams (the udp parameter to the listen directive) to an upstream group called dns_servers. If the udp parameter is not specified, the socket listens for TCP connections.

Thanks. I loaded your configuration file. So far no luck getting the actual rotary button to work. I see a lot happening in the streamdeck plus but non of the actions with the rotary buttons have any effect on parameters of the channels in the nomad. I added a test button to make sure i still have connection.

TV is HRD capable and is set up in HDR. HDMI port set to UHD/HDR and is working on other apps on stream. My Xbox and my Chromecast I previously had in this TV hdmi port supported UHD on Disney plus on this so not sure what's going on.

Im having the same problem woth disney plus, 4k UHD on all other sky stream apps such as prime, netflix, bbc iplayer working. HD programmes on disneybplus work fine just 4k UHD. starts to play then screwn goes black and a message saying " no signal recieved try changing input".

Spoke to sky 4 times, box reset works for a while then goes again, on 2nd puck. Very disappointed in sky stream. Sky have tried to blame home network but disney plus works fine on smart TV. Netork is stable with average of 72 mbps

The heavier software cam plus also slows or freezes even the cam on my Galaxy S23 Ultra phone on all cams off and on as well. So it appears that Wyze ISP servers or lack of are the issue unless anyone can add to this otherwise please. As for the order, I think WebView shows newest activated up top and oldest on bottom. So the only way to rearrange them for now is to delete and reactivate them to get them up top. Alternatively, we can put them in a camera group and then just choose to stream the whole group and it works that way.

GroupWatch syncs streams so that up to seven people have the same viewing experience, even if you're unable to watch together in person. Everyone will need to have a Disney Plus account to join, although up to four different profiles on the same account can stream together.

If you share an account with other people, note that up to four different profiles can stream from the same Disney Plus account. If you've hit your limit, you won't be able to join the GroupWatch. You also won't be able to join a GroupWatch that's already ended.
