Gym Bro is an offline workout planning and logging app.Â
This policy explains how the app handles information.
Gym Bro stores the following information in its local database on your device:
- training plans and schedules;
- selected and custom exercises;
- weights, repetitions, durations, distances, set types, and workout history;
- workout and exercise notes; and
- app preferences.
This can be health and fitness information. Gym Bro does not require an
account and does not transmit this information to the developer. The app does
not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
If you grant notification permission, Gym Bro schedules local rest-timer
alerts on your device. The notification title and message are not sent to the
developer.
Gym Bro creates JSON backup or CSV export files only when you request them.
You choose where to send or save those files through your device's share and
file interfaces. Any third-party app, storage provider, or person you select
handles the exported copy under their own terms and privacy practices.
When you choose a Gym Bro JSON backup to restore, the app reads that selected
file and replaces the app data currently stored on the device after validating
the file.
Android or iOS may include app data in an operating-system backup or a device
transfer, depending on your device, account, and system settings. Those
services are provided and controlled by the relevant platform or device
provider, not by Gym Bro.
Local information remains on the device until you remove it. You can delete
the local database by clearing Gym Bro's app storage in system settings or by
uninstalling the app. Backup and CSV copies must be deleted separately from
every destination where you saved or shared them.
Because the developer does not receive or hold your workout data, there is no
developer server account or cloud record to delete.
Gym Bro is a general fitness tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Gym Bro's progression suggestions and rep-capacity estimates are informational
training aids. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a promise
of performance. Stop exercising if you feel pain and consult a qualified
health or fitness professional when appropriate.
Material changes will be reflected by updating this policy and its effective
date. For privacy questions, use the developer contact published on Gym Bro's
Google Play store listing.
