2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private stores the following data only on your device. This data is never transmitted to DataStack Software servers.
- Browsing History: Shows previously visited URLs for quick access
- Bookmarks: Saves your favorite URLs
- Downloaded Files: Tracks files downloaded through the browser
- Session/Tab State: Restores open tabs between sessions
- Cookies & DOM Storage: Standard browser data used by websites you visit
- Saved Passwords (encrypted): Stored using AES encryption via Android Keystore; protected by biometric authentication
- QR Scan History: Records previously scanned QR codes
- App Preferences: Settings such as search engine, user agent, ad-block state, proxy settings, etc.
2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect
DataStack Software does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Your browsing history or search queries
- Your location data
- Your device identifier or personal information
- Passwords you save in the Password Vault
- Network traffic routed through the proxy

3. Proxy & Network Routing
Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private includes a Proxy Node feature that routes your web traffic through a proxy server to improve privacy. Please note:
- Proxy servers are fetched from a remote server operated by DataStack Software's backend.
- The App automatically tests proxy latency and selects working nodes.
- Your actual IP address is not logged by DataStack Software.
- A Kill Switch feature, when enabled, helps prevent traffic from leaking outside the proxy tunnel.
- The App supports a WebRTC protection toggle to help prevent IP leakage through browser WebRTC APIs.

4. Ad Blocker
The built-in ad blocker uses locally-loaded and periodically-updated blocklist rules. These rules are downloaded from public filter lists and cached on your device. No browsing data is shared with third parties to perform ad blocking.

5. Incognito Mode
When you use Incognito tabs:
- Cookies, DOM Storage, and cache are disabled for that session.
- History is not saved.
- Screenshots can optionally be blocked.
- Geolocation access is disabled.
- All session data is discarded when the incognito tab is closed.

6. Password Vault
- All passwords are encrypted using AES-256 via Android Keystore before being stored in the local database.
- Access to the Password Vault requires biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or face unlock, if your device supports it.
- DataStack Software has no access to your saved passwords at any time.

7. Geolocation
The App may request location permission only if a website you visit requests it through the browser's standard Geolocation API. You will be prompted to grant or deny this request. Geolocation is automatically disabled in Incognito mode. DataStack Software does not access or use your location.

8. Downloads
Files you download through Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private are saved to your device's local storage. The App tracks download status locally. DataStack Software does not access your downloaded files.

9. Network Monitor
The Network Monitor screen displays real-time diagnostics, such as latency, memory usage, and session uptime, for informational purposes. This data is computed on-device and is never transmitted to DataStack Software.

10. Third-Party Services
Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private connects to the following external services on your behalf:
- Websites you visit — governed by those websites' own privacy policies.
- Search engine of your choice, such as Google, DuckDuckGo, Brave Search, Bing, Ecosia, Yahoo, or Startpage — governed by those search engines' privacy policies.
- Proxy backend operated by DataStack Software — used only to deliver a list of available proxy nodes. No browsing data is sent.
- Ad filter lists — downloaded periodically to keep the ad blocker up to date.

11. Data Retention & Deletion
All data stored by Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time:
- Settings → Clear Session Logs — deletes all history, cookies, and cache.
- Password Vault — delete individual entries directly in the vault.
- Uninstalling the App — permanently removes all locally stored data.

12. Children's Privacy
Proxy Browser - Unblock & Private is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
