ProxyLink Privacy Policy

ProxyLink respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the ProxyLink mobile app handles data.
1. Overview
ProxyLink is a bring-your-own SOCKS5/HTTP proxy utility. The app lets you configure your own proxy server and route device traffic through it using the VPN/proxy functionality provided by the operating system.
ProxyLink does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
ProxyLink does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account information
- Location data
- Contacts
- Photos, videos, or files
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics data
- Crash analytics data
- Browsing history
- Payment information
3. Proxy Profiles and Credentials
When you add a proxy profile, the app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Proxy profile name
- Proxy type, such as SOCKS5 or HTTP
- Host or IP address
- Port
- Optional username and password
- Local connection logs
This information is stored on your device and is not sent to the developer.
Credentials are stored using secure device storage where available, such as Android Keystore or iOS Keychain.
4. Network Traffic
When you connect using ProxyLink, your device traffic may be routed through the proxy server that you configure.
ProxyLink does not operate, control, or monitor your proxy server. The privacy and security of traffic routed through your proxy depends on the proxy provider or server you choose.
The developer of ProxyLink does not receive or inspect your network traffic.
5. Local Logs
ProxyLink may display local connection logs, such as connection started, tunnel connected, or disconnected events. These logs are stored locally on your device and are used only to help you understand the app’s connection status.
Logs are not transmitted to the developer.
6. Data Sharing
ProxyLink does not share user data with third parties.
The app does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking services.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored by ProxyLink remains on your device until you delete it.
You can delete stored data by:
- Deleting proxy profiles inside the app
- Clearing logs inside the app, where available
- Uninstalling the app from your device
Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data according to the operating system’s normal behavior.
8. Children’s Privacy
ProxyLink is not directed to children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Security
ProxyLink is designed to keep proxy configuration data on your device. Sensitive credentials are stored using secure platform storage where available.
However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for choosing a trusted proxy server and protecting your proxy credentials.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
