ProxyLab is an Android proxy client that allows users to configure and connect through their own HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy servers.
ProxyLab does not provide, sell, rent, operate, or maintain proxy servers. Users provide and manage their own proxy server information.
This Privacy Policy explains how ProxyLab processes information, what information may be stored on the device, which Android system capabilities are used, and how third-party services integrated into the application may process data.
ProxyLab uses Android's VPNService functionality to route applicable device network traffic through a proxy server selected and configured by the user.
The VPNService functionality is used exclusively to provide ProxyLab's core proxy-routing features.
ProxyLab does not intentionally collect, store, sell, analyze, profile, or monetize the content of your network traffic.
ProxyLab does not operate its own proxy infrastructure. Traffic is routed through the proxy server configured by the user.
The privacy and security of traffic passing through a third-party proxy server depend on the proxy server, proxy protocol, destination service, and encryption used by the destination connection.
VPN TRAFFIC PROCESSING AND ENCRYPTION
ProxyLab temporarily processes network traffic only as necessary to route it through the proxy server selected and configured by the user.
ProxyLab does not store, record, inspect for profiling purposes, sell, or monetize the contents of network traffic.
ProxyLab does not operate the proxy server and cannot control the security capabilities of third-party proxy servers.
HTTP and SOCKS5 proxy protocols do not inherently guarantee encryption between the device and the proxy server. Whether this part of the connection is encrypted depends on the proxy server, protocol, and configuration selected by the user.
ProxyLab does not claim to add encryption where the selected proxy protocol or proxy server does not support it. Users should use trusted proxy servers and understand the security properties of the proxy configuration they choose.
Users should only connect to proxy servers they trust.
ProxyLab allows users to create and save proxy profiles.
A proxy profile may contain:
Proxy name
Proxy icon
Proxy type
Host or IP address
Port
Username
Password
Authentication configuration
This information is required to establish connections requested by the user.
Proxy profiles and credentials are stored locally on the user's device.
Krepel Studio does not operate a server that receives or stores users' proxy profiles or proxy passwords.
The Pro version of ProxyLab provides an App Selection feature.
App Selection allows the user to choose which installed applications use the proxy connection and which applications connect directly.
To provide this functionality, ProxyLab may process information about applications installed on the device, such as:
Application name
Package identifier
Application icon
This information is used only to provide the user-facing App Selection functionality.
ProxyLab does not sell installed-app information or use the installed-app inventory for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
Access to installed applications will be limited to the level technically necessary for this functionality and will follow applicable Android and Google Play package-visibility requirements.
APP SELECTION AND INSTALLED APPLICATION INFORMATION
ProxyLab processes information about installed applications solely to provide the App Selection feature.
This may include application names, package identifiers, and application icons so users can choose which applications should route their traffic through the selected proxy and which should connect directly.
This information is processed only for this user-requested functionality.
ProxyLab does not sell installed-application information, use it for advertising or profiling, or intentionally upload the user's installed application list to Krepel Studio servers.
The Pro version of ProxyLab allows users to create and restore a local backup.
A backup may contain:
Saved proxy profiles and credentials
Proxy names, icons, and types
App Selection configuration
Theme preference
Selected language
Application preferences and relevant settings
Backup and Restore operations are initiated manually by the user.
ProxyLab uses Android's Storage Access Framework and system file picker so the user can choose where a backup is saved or which backup file is restored.
ProxyLab does not automatically upload backup files to Krepel Studio or to a cloud storage service.
Because backups may contain sensitive proxy credentials, credentials must not be intentionally exported as unsecured plain-text data.
ProxyLab stores information required for its functionality locally on the device.
This may include proxy profiles, credentials, application preferences, selected language, theme settings, App Selection configuration, purchase-entitlement state, and other settings required for normal application operation.
Local application data may be removed when the user deletes the relevant information, clears application data, or uninstalls ProxyLab, subject to normal Android behavior and any backup files independently created by the user.
The Free version of ProxyLab displays banner advertisements using Google AdMob.
Advertisements are limited to designated areas of the Home and Settings screens.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as:
IP address
Device and advertising identifiers
Application and advertisement interactions
Diagnostic information
Performance information
Such data may be used by Google for advertising, analytics, measurement, and fraud prevention in accordance with Google's applicable privacy terms.
ProxyLab uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where applicable to manage advertising consent and privacy choices.
The Pro version of ProxyLab does not display advertisements.
ProxyLab uses Google Play Billing to provide the Pro version.
Purchases and payment transactions are processed by Google Play.
Krepel Studio does not receive or store your payment card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials.
ProxyLab may process purchase status and entitlement information provided through Google Play to determine whether Pro features should be enabled.
ProxyLab requires certain Android permissions and system capabilities to provide its functionality.
Required to connect to proxy servers and internet services.
Used to determine network availability and respond to connectivity changes.
ProxyLab uses Android VPNService to provide system-level proxy routing.
Android displays a system VPN authorization prompt before an application can establish a VPN connection where required.
An active proxy connection may operate as a foreground service so that the connection can continue while ProxyLab is not visible on screen.
On Android versions where notification permission is required, ProxyLab may request permission to display notifications.
While a proxy connection is active, ProxyLab may display an ongoing notification containing information such as the active proxy name, connection status, and a Disconnect action.
App Selection may require access to information about installed applications.
This access is used only to allow users to configure which applications use the proxy connection.
ProxyLab uses Android's Storage Access Framework for local Backup and Restore.
The user explicitly selects files or storage locations using Android's system interface.
ProxyLab does not require unrestricted access to the user's entire storage solely for Backup and Restore.
The Free version includes Google Mobile Ads and UMP. These SDKs may use Android capabilities and identifiers required for advertising, consent management, measurement, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Google Play Billing communication is used to process purchases, restore purchase entitlement, and verify access to Pro functionality.
Proxy credentials and installed-app information may be sensitive to users.
ProxyLab processes this information only when necessary to provide features explicitly requested by the user.
Krepel Studio does not sell proxy credentials, installed-app information, or network-traffic content.
ProxyLab is not designed to collect names, postal addresses, phone numbers, contact lists, photographs, videos, microphone recordings, precise GPS location, or other unrelated personal content.
ProxyLab may use services provided by Google, including:
Google Play Services
Google Play Billing
Google AdMob
Google User Messaging Platform
These services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
Users should review Google's Privacy Policy for additional information about Google's data practices.
Proxy servers configured by the user are independent third-party services and are not operated or controlled by Krepel Studio.
Krepel Studio does not sell users' personal information.
Information may be processed or shared with integrated third-party service providers only where necessary for functionality such as advertising, consent management, payment processing, fraud prevention, or other services described in this Privacy Policy.
Proxy traffic is transmitted to the proxy server selected by the user as an essential part of ProxyLab's core functionality.
Krepel Studio takes reasonable technical measures to protect information processed by ProxyLab.
Sensitive information such as proxy credentials should be stored and handled using appropriate Android security mechanisms.
However, no software, network connection, storage mechanism, or third-party proxy service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for selecting trustworthy proxy servers and protecting backup files they create.
ProxyLab primarily stores user configuration data locally.
Users can delete individual proxy profiles directly within the application.
Users can remove locally stored application data through Android system settings or by uninstalling ProxyLab.
Local backup files created by the user remain under the user's control and must be deleted by the user from the location where they were saved.
Information independently processed by third-party services is subject to those providers' respective retention policies.
ProxyLab is a general-purpose network utility and is not specifically directed toward children.
Krepel Studio does not knowingly design ProxyLab to collect personal information from children.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been processed improperly in connection with ProxyLab, please contact Krepel Studio.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of ProxyLab and any configured proxy server complies with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and third-party terms.
Krepel Studio is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, legality, or operation of proxy servers supplied or selected by users.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when ProxyLab functionality, legal requirements, Android platform requirements, Google Play policies, or integrated third-party services change.
When material changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be published with a revised effective date.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
