Most of the information we know about sea turtle movements around the world comes from satellite tracking nesting females. That’s because they come to beaches to nest, and it’s easy to place a satellite transmitter on them when they're on land and just let them go. But almost nothing is known about the movements of male sea turtles, and even less about juvenile male turtles. Your donations to this project will help us purchase special, high accuracy satellite transmitters to track juvenile male hawksbill turtles. This is ground-breaking work for which we need your support. When you support this project, you’ll receive: a) the option to name the turtle your tag goes on, b) a certificate of donation with the details of your satellite tagged turtle, c), and d) a map and information regarding your turtle’s whereabouts every other month.
