Headed Who Knows Where

We know very little about sea turtles that hatch on the beaches of Honduras. Where do they go once they leave the beaches? Where do they travel to find feeding grounds? How long do they stay at sea before they settle into their home areas to grow as juveniles? To answer these and other questions, ProTECTOR, Inc. is working with UPWELL in their ‘Lost Years Initiative’ to satellite track very small sea turtles from Honduras to understand their movements. Help support this vital work and you can adopt, name, and help us track these little turtles. When you support this project, here’s what you’ll receive: a) the option to name the turtle your tag goes on, b) a certificate of donation with the details of your satellite tagged turtle, c) special access to updates of the ‘Who Knows Where’ project, and d) a map and information regarding your turtle’s whereabouts every other month.
