This policy explains how Devayu Labs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Pro Recorder (the App).

1. Privacy at a glance

- No account is required to use Pro Recorder.

- Your recordings, screenshots, imported media, and editing projects are processed on your device.

- We do not automatically upload your media to a Devayu Labs server.

- The App uses Google services for ads, consent choices, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and updates. These services may process technical and usage data.

- You decide which optional permissions to grant and can change them at any time in Android settings.

2. Your recordings and media

When you use a related feature, the App may access or create screen recordings, screenshots, microphone audio, internal device audio where Android allows it, facecam video, and photos, videos, or audio you choose for editing.

The App processes this content on your device so you can record, preview, edit, repair, export, and share it. Your content leaves your device only when you choose to share or transfer it. Any app, person, or service that receives your content handles it under its own privacy practices.

Record responsibly. A screen, microphone, internal-audio, or camera recording may capture private information belonging to you or someone else. Make sure you have any permission required before recording or sharing content.

Transfer over your local network

When you start File Transfer, Pro Recorder temporarily lists the recordings, screenshots, and audio files stored in its Recorder media folders. A device connected to the displayed address on the same network can download those files. The files travel directly over your local network and are not routed through a Devayu Labs server.

Use File Transfer only on a trusted network. The local transfer connection is not encrypted and does not require a password. Anyone who can reach the displayed address may be able to download the listed files until you stop File Transfer or close the App.

3.  Other information we handle

Settings stored on your device

Pro Recorder saves preferences such as recording quality, audio options, theme, language, feature settings, and advertising-consent choices. These settings are stored locally so the App can remember your choices.

Messages you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message or attachments. We use this information to answer your request and provide support. Please do not attach sensitive recordings or personal information unless it is necessary for us to help you.

4.  Google services used by the App

The release version of Pro Recorder uses the following services:

- Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform display ads, record consent choices, measure ad performance, and help prevent fraud. Depending on your location and choices, Google may process your IP address, general location inferred from your IP address, advertising or app-set identifiers, interactions with the App and ads, and diagnostic information.

- Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand how people use the App and which features need improvement. It may process App interactions, identifiers, and general app, device, and network information.

- Firebase Crashlytics helps us find and fix crashes. Crash reports may include installation identifiers, stack traces, App version, device model, operating-system details, memory or storage state, and related diagnostic information. For certain recording errors, a report may also include recording settings and the local output-file path, but not the recording itself.

- Firebase Performance Monitoring helps us measure startup, rendering, and network performance. It may process installation identifiers, IP address, app and device information, performance timings, and network-request metadata.

- Google Play in-app updates checks for and delivers App updates through Google Play.

Google handles this information under its applicable terms and privacy practices. Depending on applicable law and your consent choices, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical-only ads. Where the option is available, you can review or change your choices under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from Android settings.

5.  Permissions

Pro Recorder asks for access only when it is needed for a feature you use. Available permissions depend on your Android version and may include:

- Screen capture — records your screen after you approve Android's system capture prompt.

- Microphone — records microphone audio and supports audio visualizers and voice-effect previews.

- Camera — provides facecam and other camera-based capture features.

- Photos, videos, audio, and storage — opens, edits, saves, repairs, manages, and shares media. Older Android versions use legacy storage permissions.

- Display over other apps — shows floating recording controls, tools, and the facecam overlay.

- Notifications and foreground services — keeps active recording and media-processing work visible and controllable.

- Internet and local network — loads consent messages, ads, analytics, diagnostics, and update information, and supports File Transfer that you start.

- Advertising ID — supports advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention where permitted.

- Start after boot and vibration — restores eligible App behavior and provides feedback for controls.

You can deny or revoke a permission in Android settings. The feature that needs that permission may stop working, but unrelated features should remain available.

6. Why information is used and shared

We and our service providers use information to operate requested features, remember your preferences, display and measure ads, improve the App, diagnose technical problems, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Information may be shared with the Google services listed above, with a person or service you choose when sharing or transferring media, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, safety, or the App. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable safeguards.

Devayu Labs does not sell your recordings, screenshots, imported media, or support messages. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising disclosures as a "sale", "sharing", or targeted advertising. Where required, you can use the App's ad privacy choices or Android privacy controls to manage those disclosures.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request to provide a feature, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, your consent, or compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

7.  Retention and deletion

- Recordings, screenshots, and exported media remain on your device until you delete them. Copies you share remain with their recipients.

- Project data and settings generally remain until you delete the related project, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.

- Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer you, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

- Data handled by Google is retained according to Google's service terms, retention settings, and legal obligations.

You can remove local App data by deleting the relevant media or project, clearing Pro Recorder's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the App. Clearing App data does not delete copies you previously shared with another person or service.

8.  Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. As noted above, File Transfer uses an unencrypted connection on your local network and should be used only on a network you trust.

Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Its privacy documentation explains its international-processing practices and safeguards.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

You can control App permissions and the advertising ID through Android settings, manage available ad-consent choices inside Pro Recorder, delete local files and App data, and choose whether to share or transfer media.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; appeal a decision; or complain to a data-protection authority.

To make a request about information controlled by Devayu Labs, email us using the address below. We may need to verify your request. For information controlled directly by Google or another service you chose, use that provider's privacy controls.

10.  Children's privacy

Pro Recorder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the situation and delete the information where appropriate. A higher age threshold may apply in some countries.

11.  Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date at the top of this page and provide any additional notice required by law.
