Dear Second-Year Students of Stomatological Faculty!

Welcome to the Department of Prosthodontics Propaedeutics where you are going to take two courses ‘Prosthodontics Propaedeutics’ and ‘Prosthodontics’ during the nearest two years!

Since our department is a clinic one, you must wear a medical overall and cap, and medical slippers (but not boot covers!). In case of lack of any of these uniform units you will be suspended from your classes. Be polite and attentive to your teachers, medical staff and patients. You should be careful with your classrooms, equipment and tools.

To find the necessary classroom, get acquainted with our staff, find out about the department history and its scientific achievements, evaluate its clinical and educational resources, please, study the department information boards. They also contain up-to-date information on schedule changes, absence repassing etc.

Students’ late class attendance is not acceptable and is treated as the violation of discipline. So it provides enough ground to fix the student’s absence from class in the electronic register.

‘Self-Work Record-Book’ is considered to be an essential part of Your preparation for the lesson. That is why every teacher has to check its availability in the very beginning of the lesson. ‘Self-Work Record-Book’ should be filled in according to the theme under consideration. Lack of ‘Self-Work Record-Book’ filled in appropriately provides enough ground for unsatisfactory grade. You should keep in mind that the teacher checks up the quality of ‘Self-Work Record-Book’ filling in first of all!

We kindly invite all the enthusiastic students to participate in the work of the students’ department scientific research club. The main requirements to the applicants are zeal to scientific research, analytical thinking, PC literacy, responsibility; good command of English is preferred.

Since our department is constantly working on the updating of educational and illustrative materials, students’ active participation in this work will be encouraged too!

Also students’ active part in the department territory planting will be welcomed. We believe that prospective dentists’ aesthetic education starts with the skill to notice the beauty of the world around you!
