Privacy Policy for ProPic

ProPic ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our app collects, uses, and protects your information when you use features like Image Prompt, CapCut Templates, Magic Video, and Premium.

1) Information We Collect

- Device and app information (basic technical information such as app version, device type, crash logs, and performance data).

- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications.

- User-selected media (images) only when you choose to pick an image for editing/video generation.

- Ad-related data via Google AdMob (for showing ads and preventing fraud, according to Google’s policies).

- Analytics data via Google Firebase Analytics (such as app usage events and whether a notification was opened). This helps us understand app performance and notification delivery.

- Premium purchase status (for example, whether monthly or lifetime Premium is active). We do not receive your card number, bank details, or Google Play password.

2) What We Do Not Collect

- We do not require account login to use the main app features.

- We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as national ID, bank details, passwords, biometric data).

- We do not process payments ourselves. In-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing.

- We do not sell your personal information.

3) How We Use Information

- To provide app features (image prompts, video creation, template opening, Premium).

- To improve app stability, speed, and user experience.

- To send optional push notifications (updates/news) through FCM.

- To measure notification opens and basic app usage through Firebase Analytics.

- To show ads (App Open, Banner, Interstitial, Rewarded) using AdMob, unless Premium is active.

- To unlock ads-free Premium after a verified Google Play purchase, and to restore Premium after reinstall on the same Google account.

4) Purchases and Premium

- Monthly and lifetime Premium are sold through Google Play.

- Google processes the payment under Google Play’s terms and privacy policy.

- After a successful purchase, the app stores Premium status on the device so ads can stay off.

- If you reinstall the app, you can use Restore purchase. Google Play checks your Google account. We do not keep a separate payment database.

5) Storage and Processing

- Some content and configuration data are loaded from Firebase Realtime Database / Firebase Storage.

- Generated videos/images may be saved to your device storage only after your action (Save/Share).

- Premium status is stored locally on your device.

- We process content to deliver requested features and do not use it for unrelated purposes.

6) Third-Party Services

ProPic may use:

- Google Firebase (Database, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics)

- Google AdMob (Ads)

- Google Play Billing (in-app purchases and subscriptions)

- External links/services (for example, CapCut template links, Play Store pages)

These services may process data under their own privacy policies:

7) Permissions

The app may request permissions such as:

- Internet / Network access (for online content, ads, purchases, and analytics)

- Media/Image access (to select images)

- Notification permission (for push notifications)

Permissions are used only for related app functionality.

8) Children’s Privacy

ProPic is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe such data was provided, contact us for removal.

9) Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. However, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

10) Your Choices

- You may stop using the app at any time.

- You may deny optional permissions from device settings.

- You may clear app data/uninstall the app to remove local app data, including local Premium status. You can restore Premium later with the same Google account.

- You may manage or cancel a monthly subscription from Google Play subscription settings.

- Ads may depend on Google’s consent/privacy messages in supported regions.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
