The name propellerhead comes from the pejorative term used to deprecate science fiction fans and other technophiles, who are stereotypically drawn wearing propeller beanies. The company is not related to the British electronic music duo Propellerheads.

Hello

i am trying a new setup with a digitakt and properllerhead reason. I want to use the digitakt and its sequencer to drive Reason machines. I also want to use each digitack output channel separately to apply effects to it. But when I look at the back of the plugin in reason there are only 7 outputs and the main one. In addition, the sound level of the outputs is lower than the main one and there is no more reverb and delay. Can you help me solve this problem?

thank you !!!

The routing schematic in the Malstrom is different then the subtractor (the other synth inside of reason). With having 2 different filters (filter A and Filter B) on the right side of the device and a shaper in between it. We can route Osc A through Filter A and Filter B, while Osc B can only go from Filter B to Filter A. Keep in mind that Filter A is the left output, and Filter B is the right output. This will become an important issue when you are using the spread option. The most common setup is using Osc A through filter A and Osc B through filter B. Because using a little spread inside the Malstrom, you can create really nice stereo sounds. Since there are so many ways to route the different filters

In reason 2.0 and before that most common filter types inside of Reason were the LowPass (LP), the HighPass (HP) and the ByPass (BP) filters. With the Malstrom, there is a new set of filters that can be used. The Comb + and Comb - filters are filter types to create some spicey filter sweeps (kind of like the phasers but then a bit differently).

Soo...some speculation... a while back we've got the Stockholm gadget which introduced a piece of Reason in Gadget.

What if Korg Gadget will be the platform for propellerhead to enter the ios game?

Propellerhead is a small company, certainly in comparison to Korg, so suppose Korg buys Propellerhead or at

least strengthens the ties between the 2 companies?

I find it really interesting too that Gadget is built out from it's iPhone core. The UX is fundamentally created for the iPhone form factor, and it shows, there's nothing that can match Gadget on iPhones. I'd argue that this strategy has meant that the iPad and especially iPad Pro experience is badly compromised compared to AUv3 based ecosystems from an artist perspective. However, I would agree that Gadget's simplicity and accessibility are it's biggest strengths. Although I really think they're taking liberties pricing their desktop product at $299 considering it has no benefits over the iPhone product (at least the Windows plugin suite is more reasonably priced). It feels like a little more than a gateway tax. The accuracy of that last statement is born out by the fact that Korg now makes plugin versions of their Gadgets available for both Mac and PC, which is pretty much an admittance that Gadget doesn't compete with the established desktop DAW competition.

I was on the Beta of Reason before it was initially released. The Propellerheads sent me a full version of Reason after the Beta. I still have a very soft spot for them, but my use of Reason wained over the years. As nice as the sound generating parts are, the sequencer always let it down. I used to ReWire it into Logic, but that caused a lot of frustrations especially when you came back to a project a year or so later and it didn't work anymore for some reason (no pun intended).

Help! I'm recording a multitrack that has several Propellerhead Reason tracks. For some reason, last night Cakewalk started graying out Reason when I go to Insert/Rewire Device/Uncategorized/Reason. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

This manual provides all you need to know to start out using reason and take your skills from Basic to advanced, and beyond. Save time learning the Rack in the most intuitive way possible, and keep your copy handy as a desk reference while you work.

A Template, put simply, is a Reason song file (.reason). It cannot be any other file type. It is used as a starting point for document development (usually a song; however, it can also be used as a Mastering Template, Sound Design template, Loop Template, or any other purpose that you have for Reason files). It can contain anything that can be saved in a Reason file, which pretty much means anything and everything in the Reason universe.

Finally, you could implement a dummy audio device which would route the audio to/from wherever you want or process it in some way.I imagine all of these would be reasonably difficult. MIDI is probably the easiest of the three (I have no idea how easy or hard the Rewire protocol is to use).

It used to bundle the Javadoc documentation as well, but for somereason their latest downloads don't include that. It's a pity, becausethat's where the Javascript bindings are documented. So, now you haveto browse the source or build the Javadoc yourself. (It has some built-in examples that are accessible from the scripting window, you should check them out first. My first example is from there.) 0852c4b9a8
