Welcome to PromptOne ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
PromptOne provides tools for:
Creating, editing, and managing teleprompter scripts
Displaying scrolling scripts while recording videos
Adjusting script text size, scrolling speed, and display settings
Recording videos with camera and microphone access
Previewing, saving, and sharing recorded videos
Managing saved scripts and recording projects
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not:
Use the app for illegal activities
Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the app
Interfere with app functionality, security, or normal operation
Use the app in a way that violates any applicable laws or third-party rights
You retain full ownership of any scripts, videos, audio, photos, or other content you create, import, record, or manage using PromptOne.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
You have the right to use, record, import, edit, or share any content through the app
Your use of the app does not violate any applicable laws, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright, or other third-party rights
You review your scripts and recordings before saving, exporting, or sharing them
We do not claim ownership of your content. PromptOne is designed to process scripts and recordings on your device.
PromptOne may request access to certain device features in order to provide its core functionality, including:
Camera access for video recording
Microphone access for audio recording
Photo library access for saving or importing media
File access for importing scripts or related documents
You can manage these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work properly if required permissions are disabled.
PromptOne may offer optional subscription services to unlock premium features.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Subscription prices may vary by region
Available subscription plans, prices, and benefits may be displayed within the app
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple.
Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple
We do not have the ability to directly grant refunds
Apple may process refunds in accordance with App Store policies
All rights related to PromptOne, including but not limited to:
App design
User interface elements
Features and functionality
Graphics, logos, and branding
Software, code, and related technology
are owned by us or our licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, rent, or exploit any part of the app without permission.
PromptOne may rely on third-party services or system frameworks, including but not limited to:
Apple camera and media frameworks
Apple photo library and file access frameworks
Apple in-app purchase services
Analytics or crash reporting tools, if used
These third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
PromptOne is provided "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee that:
The app will always be error-free
The app will always be available
All features will function without interruption
Recording, exporting, saving, or sharing will always complete successfully
The app will meet every individual recording or production need
You are responsible for reviewing your scripts, recordings, and exported videos before using or sharing them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
We are not responsible for data loss, recording failure, file corruption, export failure, or service interruptions
You are solely responsible for backing up important scripts, recordings, and media files
You are responsible for how you use, publish, or share content created with the app
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app or certain features if:
You violate these Terms
You misuse the app
You attempt to interfere with the app’s normal operation or security
Your use of the app may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Updates may be posted within the app, on our website, or through the App Store page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
