This Privacy Policy describes how the Pomodoro Timer app ("we", "our", or "the app") handles your information. Please read this policy carefully.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The Pomodoro Timer app does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not have access to any data you use within the app.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Timer settings (focus duration, short break duration, long break duration, long break interval)
- User preferences (auto-start, vibration on/off, sound on/off)
- Usage statistics (today's completed sessions, total completed sessions, day streak count)
- Daily goal settings
All of this data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's SharedPreferences system. It never leaves your device.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Since all data is stored locally on your device, we use it solely to:
- Display your timer settings and preferences within the app
- Show your productivity statistics (sessions completed today, total sessions, focus time)
- Track your daily streak and progress toward your daily goal
- Restore your settings when you reopen the app
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any other purpose.
3. DATA SHARING
We do NOT share any data with third parties. The app has no internet connection functionality. No data is transmitted to our servers or any external servers because we do not operate any servers connected to this app.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Pomodoro Timer app does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. No third-party SDKs that collect user data are included in this app.
5. PERMISSIONS USED
The app requests the following Android permissions:
- VIBRATE: Used to vibrate your device when a timer session is completed. No data is collected through this permission
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Reserved for potential future background timer functionality. Currently not actively used to collect any data.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
All data stored by the app remains on your device and is under your full control. You can:
- Clear app statistics at any time using the "Reset Statistics" button in the Statistics screen.
- Reset all settings to default values using the "Reset to Defaults" button in the Settings screen.
- Completely delete all app data by uninstalling the app from your device, or by going to your device Settings > Apps > Pomodoro Timer > Clear Data.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Pomodoro Timer app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for use by all age groups.
8. SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device using Android's private SharedPreferences storage, it is protected by your device's built-in security mechanisms. Other apps on your device cannot access this data.
9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
