Cyberpunk 2077: CD Projekt had " underestimated the scale of the problems "

After the calamitous debut of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Project had no choice but to apologize. The studio explains that it has imposed itself impractical deadlines and even mentions the coronavirus pandemic as the reason for the massacre. He also promises that patches will arrive soon to repair the damage.
We underestimated the scale and complexity of the problems, we ignored the alarm signals that told us to delay the release of the game. Nevertheless, he acknowledges that this is not a major reason for the result delivered. Indeed, CD Projekt confesses to having "worked on the last-gen versions" and adds that he thought "to be able to succeed in time". Moreover, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have come under the radar of Sony and Microsoft checks, for the PS4 and Xbox One versions. The studio explains that in fact, it thought it could fix the bugs before the release and believes that "the fault is entirely on [its] side".
Despite everything, the game got off to a very good start and even allowed Steam to break its attendance record. Still, PS4 and Xbox One players have to settle for a (very) poorly optimized version. Fortunately, CD Projekt claimed that the future patches, announced for for January and February 2021, should allow the game to run without crash or bug and with a significantly improved graphic rendering. The studio also referred to the quality of NPCs and plans to strengthen their AI. No information has yet been given on the multiplayer mode, with the developers probably preferring to focus on the story mode.
