### 1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how StoreX (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Project: Video Templates (the “App”).
The App does not currently require an account. Most editing activity and user-created content remain on your device. Some features use third-party services, as described below.
### 2. Information handled by the App
#### Media and user-created content
When you choose to use a feature, the App may access:
- Photos and videos that you select from your media library;
- Audio files that you select through the system file picker;
- Cropping, trimming, volume, timing, slot-replacement, and other editing choices;
- Project names, project state, template selections, settings, thumbnails, and export history; and
- Videos that you create and export.
This information is used to provide editing, preview, project-saving, export, save-to-library, and sharing features.
Your projects, uploaded audio, App settings, and export records are stored locally in the App’s storage. Exported videos may also be saved to your Photos or media library when you request it. Depending on your device and backup settings, locally stored information may be included in a device or cloud backup managed by Apple, Google, or your device provider.
We do not operate an account-based cloud service for storing your projects or exported videos in the current version of the App.
#### Background removal
When you apply **Remove Background** to an image, the App may send the image you selected, together with technical request information such as its media type, to a background-removal service for processing. The default remote provider is **Hugging Face**. A returned processed image is then stored locally on your device.
On supported Android devices, the App may first attempt to process the image locally. If local processing is unavailable or fails, the image may be sent to the remote service. On iOS, background removal currently uses the remote service.
Do not submit an image to background removal if you do not want that image processed by the applicable provider. The provider’s own privacy, security, and retention terms apply to information it receives.
#### Advertising and device information
The App uses **AppLovin MAX** to display app-open, banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. AppLovin and advertising partners available through its mediation platform may automatically collect or receive information such as:
- Advertising identifiers, including IDFA on iOS or the Android advertising ID when available;
- Device or vendor identifiers;
- IP address and approximate location inferred from IP address or device settings;
- Device make, model, operating system, language, time zone, screen, network, and similar technical information;
- App installation, session, performance, and diagnostic information;
- Ad impressions, clicks, views, rewards, and other interactions with advertisements; and
- Privacy, consent, and advertising preference signals.
They may use this information to deliver and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, detect fraud, maintain security, provide reporting, and, where permitted, personalize ads. AppLovin may share information with mediated advertising, measurement, and service partners under its own privacy terms.
On iOS, the App requests permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing the IDFA or allowing tracking as defined by Apple. If you decline, the IDFA is unavailable to the App for tracking, but you may still see non-personalized or contextual advertisements. Apple’s tracking permission does not by itself stop all processing needed to deliver, secure, or measure ads.
#### Support communications
If you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not include media or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for us to assist you.
### 3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide templates and photo, video, and audio editing features;
- Save and restore local projects and settings;
- Process background removal when you request it;
- Preview, render, export, save, and share videos;
- Display, measure, and secure advertising;
- Diagnose errors, prevent abuse or fraud, and maintain the App;
- Respond to support requests; and
- Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request to perform App functions, your consent for tracking or personalized advertising where required, our legitimate interests in providing and securing the App and non-personalized advertising, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where applicable, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
### 4. When information is disclosed
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- **Service providers:** to providers that perform a feature you request, including the background-removal provider;
- **Advertising partners:** to AppLovin and advertising partners available through AppLovin MAX for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and permitted personalization;
- **At your direction:** to an app, person, or service you select through the operating system’s share sheet;
- **Platform services:** to Apple, Google, device manufacturers, or storage providers as necessary for system file selection, media-library saving, backups, permissions, or platform operation;
- **Legal and safety reasons:** when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable government requests, or to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of the App; and
- **Business changes:** as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
Advertising partners may use certain identifiers and activity information for interest-based or cross-context behavioral advertising. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, this activity may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information even when no money is exchanged. See **Your choices and rights** below.
### 5. Third-party services
Third parties handle information under their own terms and privacy policies:
- **AppLovin:** advertising and mediation — [AppLovin Privacy Policy](https://legal.applovin.com/privacy/) and [AppLovin Partners](https://legal.applovin.com/applovin-partners-privacy/). For more information about AppLovin’s collection and use of your information, visit its Privacy Policy.
- **Hugging Face:** default remote background-removal infrastructure — [Hugging Face Privacy Policy](https://huggingface.co/privacy)
- **Apple:** iOS, Photos, system sharing, permissions, and related platform services — [Apple Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)
- **Google:** Android, media storage, system sharing, permissions, and related platform services — [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy)
The identity and availability of mediated advertising partners may vary by region, device, and AppLovin MAX configuration. Review AppLovin’s current partner list for details.
### 6. Permissions
Depending on your device and the feature you choose, the App may request:
- **Photos/media library access:** to let you select photos or videos and read saved exports;
- **Add-to-library access:** to save an exported video;
- **File access through the system picker:** to import an audio file you select; and
- **Tracking permission on iOS:** to permit use of the IDFA and tracking for advertising, where you authorize it.
You can change permissions in your device settings. Restricting a permission may prevent the related feature from working. The App does not automatically upload your entire photo, video, or audio library.
### 7. Data retention and deletion
- Local projects, settings, imported audio, thumbnails, and export records remain on your device until you delete them using available App or device controls, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.
- Removing an item from **My Video** deletes the App’s local export copy and its local thumbnail. A copy previously saved to Photos or the media library remains there until you delete it separately.
- Clearing projects removes project records from the App. Media that already exists in your Photos, files, backups, or another app is not automatically deleted.
- Copies shared through another app are controlled by the recipient and that app’s privacy policy.
- Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
- AppLovin, mediated advertising partners, Hugging Face, platform providers, and other independent third parties retain information according to their own policies.
Because the App does not currently provide user accounts, there is no cloud account to delete. To request deletion of information that you believe we hold outside your device, contact **[PRIVACY_EMAIL]**. We may need enough information to verify and complete the request.
### 8. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Decline or revoke photo, media-library, or tracking permission in device settings;
- On iOS, go to **Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking** to change tracking access;
- Use your device’s advertising privacy controls to reset or restrict its advertising identifier;
- Use AppLovin’s privacy choices and request tools described in its privacy policy;
- Delete local projects and export records in the App, delete saved exports from Photos or your media library, clear App storage, or uninstall the App; and
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or portability where applicable law provides those rights.
Residents of jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to your local data protection authority.
### 9. International processing
Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we and our providers use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.
### 10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled by the App. Local information is protected by your device’s operating-system controls, and remote requests use encrypted HTTPS connections where supported. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
### 11. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 or under the minimum age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not use the App or submit media to remote processing if you are below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact diepquocphong@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
### 12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, third-party services, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide any additional notice required by law. Please review this policy periodically.
