Visual impairment is a major global health issue, the preventable causes are as high as 80 percent. It includes low vision and blindness resulting in a person’s inability to navigate and carry out daily activities with ease. Hence providing a solution and putting continuous efforts in this direction becomes a necessity. Developing a tool for the visually impaired people is not a recently emerged problem. We are trying to develop a computer aided tool, which will be able to provide a cost-effective solution to people with poor or complete vision loss.
