An Escape-Room-Style Collaborative Team Activity
Created by: Rachel Doughty
Project: Lockbox is a reusable escape room activity that can be used to review any topic from any subject. So far, this activity has only been used in the field of chemistry, but it could easily be used for other STEM fields, social sciences, or even the humanities.
Choose a 4-question worksheet where the answers are numerical and/or selected from an answer box. Set each padlock combination to match a worksheet code. Fill the lockbox with prizes, and you are ready to go!
Lockbox activities are designed to fit in a 70 minute lecture period and come with 6-8 versions of each worksheet to discourage cheating.
