Esperanza Martínez is the teacher who led the project at IES Fernando I during the 2025–2026 school year.

The team is made up of ten students from the 3rd year of Secondary Education at IES Fernando I in Valencia de Don Juan (León).
Elisa Alija, Lucía Fernández, Beatriz Ivaylova, Irene Martínez, Mara Rodríguez, Marcos Bodega, Patricia Melón, Vera Villamuza, Yasmine Aabicha and Yadira Alonso.
They carried out their work under the supervision and guidance of their teachers, Esperanza Martínez Gaitero and José M. Alonso Aranda.

We visited a riverside forest and gathered first-hand information about pollution and biodiversity.
We had to postpone the trip because the riverside forest was flooded.
Unfortunately, our suggestions weren´t voted... We had beautiful ideas such as Elisa´s proposal.

We also took part in the “Aula del Fuego” (Fire Classroom), an exhibition that taught us about the equipment used by those who fight fires and the best ways to prevent them.
