The buttercup mission statement is a living document:
Project buttercup strives to realize a vision of liberation through social, queer, and racial justice. We work for this through creation, collaborative expression, and cultivating relations without transaction.
We seek, in our practice and in our persons, to dismantle racial capitalism and white supremacy. In its place, we wish to seed lasting support and celebration of infinite diversity.
We see a future free of money, free of need, free of unwanted obligation. buttercup is our effort to bring that future to our present.
