Located in the Delta planetary group, Scion was home to a large population, and held the great Scionic Empire. One day while exploring a nearby cave, Alex and Martin stumbled across an ancient relic. Alex picked up this relic which turned out to be the Ancient Sword of the Mantis. He instantly became the nexus system's next Mantis, and gained abilities from the sword. Unbeknownst to him, Mantis now wielded the power to control all elements. Unable to control his new powers, Mantis summoned galactic fog, which spread across the planet faster than he could manage. With its destructive power, the galactic fog killed nearly everyone on the planet. Among the survivors was Martin, who Mantis helped escape using the king's personal spacecraft. Mantis was locked up in the castle dungeon for a short time before breaking out and leaving the planet with a golden mushroom as a memory of his home. Scion played a significant role in the interplanetary trade network, being the only planet on the delta side to have a spaceport in its prime. In the Exodus mission, Martin and Zero were successfully able to free Scion from the fog's control, and take the core to heal
