About:

I am a Professor of Mathematics in The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India.  My passion for mathematics started on a very early stage of my education.  Since beginning I have a very deep interest in geometry. I came to know about the fundamentals of differential geometry in my Masters. This subject fascinates me in every way. Theory of manifold is one of such area of Mathematics in which multiple fields comes together. During my Ph.D.  I went into deep study of Theory of Manifolds.  Thereafter my journey in submanifolds began. 

Beside my main stream I also have huge interest in Ricci flow theory and related studies on manifold. In recent days I started to study Eigenvalue estimation on Riemannian manifold for different operators. I discovered those areas with my scholar during 2019-23. Recently I am working on Gradient estimation on Riemannian manifolds.

Now a days I am also studying Finsler Geometry. My next project is to discover many areas of Finsler Manifold and its submanifolds.
