Naveen Kumar Laskari

About Me

I am Naveen Kumar Laskari, Assistant Professor of Information Technology Department BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, and pursuing PhD from JNT University Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

I have 10 years of teaching experience. I taught various courses for Undergraduate and post graduate students like DBMS, Algorithms, Compilers, Automata Theory, Information Retrieval Systems and Data Mining. My area of interest and research goes into Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.

Currently working on problems related to Sentiment Analysis, Suggestion Mining, Review Diversification, Image Captioning and Recommendation Systems

Participation

1. Workshop on Deep Learning for Visual Computing at IIT Hyderabad during 20th to 25th June 2016.

2. Participated and presented a paper on Identification of Support and Relevance for Consumer Health Information at Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation (FIRE-2016), an International Conference at ISI Kolkata during 9th to 11th Jan 2017.

3. Participated a 18 day IIIT Hyderabad Advanced School on NLP(IASNLP-2017) during May 2017.

4. Participated in SemEval-2017 Task-4 – Twitter Sentiment Analysis and published a paper in conference proceedings “TWINA at SemEval-2017 Task 4: Twitter Sentiment Analysis with Ensemble Gradient Boost Tree Classifier”.

5. Attended a three day National workshop on AI & DL at BVRIT Narsapur in Association with Bennett University, India.
