God created the universe
He chose the planet earth
Dividing light from dark
Land from water
Filling the sky with birds
The sea with fish
The land with flora and fauna
As apotheosis
He formed man and woman
"Be fruitful and multiply"
Then he rested
He did not hear the cries for help
Nor did he care to see the destruction
On the eighth day
Crushing the earth
Like a broken toy
In his mighty hand
He threw it back
Into the universe
Choosing the planet Venus
To try again
