My primary research, teaching and consulting interests lie in the fields of competition, energy-climate and regulation. My most recent book, co-authored with Matthieu Glachant, focuses on adaptation to climate change (Odile Jacob, January 2025). I am deeply committed to economic outreach and popularization, as well to a learning programme in Africa.
I serve as Head of the Chair of Economics of Gas and as co-chair of the PSL Energy Economics Seminar. I was a founding partner of Microeconomix, an economic consulting firm that later joined Deloitte. I have also acted as an independent expert in numerous litigation cases. To date, I have published 20 books and over 100 academic papers.
