I hold a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I teach courses in the philosophy of space and time, philosophy and social psychology, political philosophy, philosophy and film, the philosophy of humor, and early modern European philosophy. My current research is on the philosophy, psychology, and politics of ideological science denial; I also work on naturalistic approaches to understanding time and time consciousness.
