I am a high-energy astrophysicist who specifies in experimental gamma-ray astrophysics. I am mainly involved with the High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) tera-electronvolt gamma-ray observatory, which is located at 4,100m in altitude to collect air shower particles produced from cosmic gamma-ray photons. I use the data from HAWC to search and study very-high-energy gamma-ray sources.

We are also planning to build a southern hemisphere version of HAWC called the Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO), which will be constructed somewhere in South America.
