Join us for our next Psychedelic Lecture Series!
We’re excited to welcome PD Dr. med. Ansgar Rougemont-Bücking, psychiatrist and psychotherapist specializing in addiction medicine, EMDR therapist, researcher, lecturer, and author.
This lecture, “Fragmentierte Wirklichkeit: Trauma, Bewusstsein und die Krise der Gegenwart,” explores how trauma and dissociation shape not only individual experience, but also collective realities. Moving beyond a purely clinical perspective, Dr. Rougemont-Bücking examines structural dissociation as an organizing principle of contemporary society.
Drawing parallels between individual trauma and societal dynamics, the talk addresses phenomena such as denial, normalization, and the perpetuation of systemic harm. It also introduces the idea of a “collective Stockholm syndrome,” where identification with the aggressor becomes a strategy of adaptation and survival.
By connecting psychotraumatology with broader social processes, this lecture invites a deeper reflection on the current crisis as a crisis of integration—one that calls for new ways of understanding the relationship between individual and society.
Free and without registration. Everyone is welcome.
