Dr. Priyanka Banerjee

Research Investigator I Lecturer Institute of Physiology, Charite Berlin

Hello, I am Priyanka Banerjee. I'm a JGroup Leader/Principal Investigator in the Institute of Physiology and Structural Bioinformatics Group, Charite-University of Medicine. I am also appointed as a lecturer at the Freie University-Berlin as a part of my position at the Institute of Physiology, Charite. My primary fields of interest are computer-aided drug design, cheminformatics, and computational toxicology. I am extremely interested in the development and application of computational methods for analyzing risk associated with chemical compounds. I am interested in patient-centric drug discovery and using theoretical methods integrated with experimental observations to understand the risk-benefit profile of drugs. My group is partially funded by the DFG- Clinical Research Unit for computational food allergy prediction.
