Overview

This policy explains what data Tube Video Downloader collects, why, how it's handled, and how it's kept secure. Tube Video Downloader helps you download video and audio from links you provide, browse the web to detect downloadable media, and manage the files you've saved.

Data we collect (summary)

Advertising identifier & device/usage signals — collected by Google AdMob and the TikTok Business SDK, to show and measure ads.
App events (install, launch, in-app actions like completing a purchase) — collected by the TikTok Business SDK, to measure our ad campaigns.
Purchase confirmation — handled entirely by Google Play Billing; we never see your payment details.
Files you download — stay on your device only; we never upload or transmit them.
No account, name, email, or personal profile is collected or stored by us directly.

Advertising

Tube Video Downloader shows ads through Google AdMob, including a banner, occasional interstitials, a native ad, and an app-open ad when you return to the app. AdMob may collect an advertising identifier and other device or usage signals to serve and measure ads, subject to your device's ad personalization settings and any consent choices you're shown. Ad campaign measurement (TikTok)

Tube Video Downloader uses the TikTok Business SDK to measure the effectiveness of our TikTok ad campaigns. This SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier, general device/OS information, IP address, and app events (such as install, app open, and completing a purchase) and send them to TikTok. We use this only to understand which ad campaigns led to real app usage - not to build a profile of you for purposes outside that measurement. Purchases

Tube Video Downloader offers a one-time "Remove Ads / Premium" purchase that unlocks the app permanently — it is not a subscription. The purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Tube Video Downloader never sees your payment details; it only receives confirmation that a purchase completed, tied to your Google account.

Downloads

Files you download are saved directly to your device's Downloads folder. Tube Video Downloader does not upload, back up, or transmit those files to any server it controls.

Browsing

The in-app Browser tab loads pages directly on your device via a standard WebView, the same as your regular browser would. Tube Video Downloader does not record, log, or transmit your browsing activity to any server it controls.

Account & personal data

Tube Video Downloader does not require an account, and does not itself collect or store your name, email, or other personal profile information on any server we control.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data described above. Every network request this app makes uses HTTPS encryption in transit. We do not operate our own backend servers that store your personal data - the advertising, ad measurement, and billing data described above is collected and processed directly by Google (AdMob, Play Billing) and TikTok under their own security and privacy practices, not stored on infrastructure we control. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your choices

You can limit ad personalization at any time in your device's own settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). To request access to, correction of, or deletion of data held about you by Google or TikTok specifically, use their own privacy controls linked in the sections above - we don't hold a separate copy of that data ourselves to act on.

Children

Tube Video Downloader is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will ship together with a new app version, and the effective date above will be updated.
