At ZenSpend, we believe that your financial data is personal and should remain private. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data and security for the ZenSpend mobile application.
ZenSpend is designed as an offline-first application.
Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Financial Data: All expense logs, budget targets, and subscription data you enter into the app are stored locally on your device using an encrypted database. We do not have access to this data.
Automatic Collection: We do not use cookies, trackers, or third-party analytics to monitor your behavior.
The data you enter is used exclusively for the following purposes:
To calculate your daily and monthly spending totals.
To generate local visual charts and insights.
To provide local notifications for bill reminders.
We do not share your data. Since your data never leaves your device, it is never sold, traded, or shared with third-party companies, advertisers, or data brokers.
Retention: Your data remains on your device for as long as the app is installed.
Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by:
Using the "Reset Data" button within the app settings.
Deleting the ZenSpend app from your device. Once the app is deleted, all locally stored data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
We utilize standard iOS security protocols and local encryption to ensure your data is protected while on your device. However, the security of your data also depends on your device’s security (FaceID/Passcode).
ZenSpend does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
