Effective September 28, 2026.
VoiceMirror is a voice training app: you read a short text aloud and the app evaluates how your speech sounds. The app is developed by MIKHAIL NAUMOV.
We do not collect, receive or store your data. All analysis happens on your iPhone. The app has no servers, accounts, ads or analytics.
The app uses the microphone only during a recording that you start. Audio is processed in the device's memory to measure speech characteristics (intonation, loudness, pace, pauses, clarity). After the analysis the audio is discarded: it is never saved to a file or transmitted anywhere.
To measure pace, pauses and reading accuracy, the app uses Apple's built-in speech recognition in on-device-only mode. If on-device recognition is not available on your device, the app does not start it and works without it. The recognized text is used only to compute metrics and is not stored.
Your history on the iPhone contains the date of each recording, the resulting scores and numeric speech metrics — no audio and no text. This data never leaves your device. You can delete individual sessions or the entire history on the “Мой прогресс” (My progress) screen; deleting the app deletes the history as well.
The app does not share data with third parties, does not use advertising or analytics services, and does not track you across other apps or websites. App downloads are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
