Technet TaskFlow ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our to-do list application.
Data Collection:
Technet TaskFlow stores all your task data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. Your tasks, categories, priorities, due dates, and settings remain entirely on your device.
Local Storage:
The app uses your device's local storage (Room database and DataStore) to save:
- Your tasks (title, description, due date, priority, category, completion status)
- Your preferences (theme mode, default sort order)
- Trash items until you empty the trash or restore them
This data is only accessible by the app and is not shared with any third parties. Uninstalling the app will remove all stored data from your device.
Permissions:
The app does not require access to your contacts, location, camera, or other sensitive permissions. All functionality is provided using only the permissions necessary for the app to run on your device. When you use the **Share** feature, the system share sheet is used; we do not access or store the app you choose or the content after it is shared.
Sharing:
When you use the Share feature to share a task, the content is sent through your device's standard share sheet to the app of your choice (e.g. WhatsApp, email). We do not control or process data shared through this feature. No copy of the shared content is sent to us or any third party.
Children's Privacy:
Technet TaskFlow does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is suitable for users of all ages because it does not collect personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with data through the app, please contact us; we do not store such data on our servers (we have no servers).
Data Security:
Because all data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's lock screen and security settings. We do not transmit your tasks or preferences over the internet.
Changes to This Policy:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and in this document; the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
